Strategy & Outcomes

The connected graph: strategic priority → objective & measure → the projects executing it → benefits realized against target. This is where leadership sees whether execution produced the intended value.

Start with your strategy — the deck becomes the desk (counts a call)

Velora breaks your strategy down into priorities → objectives → candidate projects with drafted intakes, all landing in the intake pipeline for your review and Portfolio approval. Prefer one project at a time? Create it on the Registry and use Draft the intake with Velora on Initiation.

Step 1 · Provide your strategy

Upload a strategy deck or plan (PDF, image pages, or a text/markdown file) — or choose Paste to type it in.

Step 2 · Analyze
Reads your strategy and drafts the breakdown into the intake pipeline — nothing advances without your approval.

Project Initiation

The projects whose intake you're capturing — pick one to open its project-specific initiation page (capture, business case, assumptions, stakeholders, Go / No-Go), or start a fresh intake. Same layering as Business Cases: the list first, the detail on click.

Name it and Velora helps you draft every field — or open an existing project below to work its intake.

Velora — Draft this intake (counts a call)

Describe the project in your own words — the sponsor, why now, what success looks like, rough budget and timeline. Velora fills every field below; you verify, edit, and save.

Strategic alignment — the investment case: priority → objective → this project

Saved with the intake — realized benefits report back against this priority on the Portfolio.

Sponsor intake — the investment request

priority —

Priority = value ×2 + alignment ×2 + (6 − effort) + (6 − risk) · ranks the intake pipeline and scenario planning.

Business case — the investment decision artifact; the Portfolio approval gate reads it · lifecycle runs on Business Cases

Build with Velora fills the fields from the captured intake (counts a call) — you review and edit; it autosaves.

Assumptions — what must be true; validate or invalidate as you learn

Stakeholders — who the project touches; emails receive the reports

Go / No-Go readiness check — your honest self-assessment; Velora weighs it in the verdict

readiness —

Velora — Initiation (each counts a call)

Initiation summary — everything captured in this phase, one report on the record; it feeds Planning and the Portfolio approval gate

Compiled straight from the saved record — no Velora call. Email it, send it to stakeholders, export or print; it stays on the project and reloads here next time.

Charter & Scope

The mandate layer: an approved assessment converts to a project, and its charter is built from everything the funnel approved — twelve sections, your edits, sign-off, and the Kickoff gate.

Plans & Milestones

The delivery layer: a signed-off charter converts to the plan — Velora proposes the workstreams, milestones and resourcing from everything the funnel approved, you confirm what gets filed, baseline it, and delivery tracks against it.

Workstreams

The plan's delivery lanes: each workstream with its owner, window, milestones and progress — Velora proposes them from the signed-off charter; the plan files them; delivery runs them here.

Roadmap & Gantt

The project on one timeline — workstream bars from start to finish, milestone dots on their lanes, critical path flagged, today's line and slips against the baseline.

Risks, Issues & Assumptions

The RAID discipline per project — risks (likelihood × impact), issues that have landed, and the assumptions the plan rests on. Pick a project to open its register.

Outcomes & Benefits

Define the operational outcomes and measurable benefits the project is expected to create, assign ownership, validate actual results and track value realization. Budget and spending remain in Budget Tracking.

Value Summary

The project-level value cockpit: intended outcomes, benefit realization, adoption and the closeout position, consolidated across the value sections. Pick a project to open its value summary.

Adoption & Operationalization

Whether the change actually took hold in the business: adoption of the new ways of working, operational readiness, transition to business-as-usual and the sustainment plan. Pick a project to open its adoption view.

Velora Assistant

Demand — Requests

Every ask lands here first. Capture it, let Velora draft the intake, score it — then it competes for funding at the Portfolio approval gate.

Intake pipeline — ranked by priority

Nothing in intake.

Business Cases

The demand funnel is layered: Intake → Business Case approval → Assessment & Scoring approval → Convert to Project. This page carries the case layer — strategic case, options, investment & value, execution — with Velora's evidence, benchmarks and verdict backing the call; an approved case hands off to Assessment.

Assessment & Scoring

Two layers: a ranked card per project with its quick priority score (value ×2 + alignment ×2 + (6 − effort) + (6 − risk)) and a summary — and, on open, the full weighted assessment: five areas, ten readiness gates, Velora's decision insights, and the assessment report that carries the decision.

Eight strategic lenses to pressure-test how you rank initiatives

Programs & Value Streams

Related initiatives and projects organized around coordinated strategic outcomes. A program is temporary; a value stream may continue after projects close.

Priorities & Scenarios

The portfolio decision workspace — rank initiatives, weigh evidence, test funding and capacity scenarios, then decide. Scores don't change when testing scenarios; only selection and sequencing change.

3 · Scenario Builder & Trade-Off — toggle initiatives to fund / defer; totals recompute live. Nothing changes until you save a scenario.

Portfolio Roadmap

Consolidated timing and sequencing across initiatives, programs and projects — reads the project Roadmap & Gantt records; it does not create separate schedules.

2 · Strategic Roadmap — every active initiative on one timeline; bars span first to last milestone, dots are milestones

Capacity & Resources

Cross-project demand and supply — over-allocation is how portfolios quietly fail. Underlying assignments stay owned by each project's Resources Tracking.

Investment & Financials

Portfolio investment and financial performance — requested through realized. Project Budget Tracking remains the source for actuals, commitments and forecasts.

Deliverables

Every project's client-ready artifacts — drafted by Velora from the funnel-approved record, saved to the project as branded reports, and sent only on your approval.

Deliverables Dashboard

Every deliverable across every project — the cross-project delivery control view, plus every desk-generated report in one place. The project Deliverables section remains the source of truth.

Actions

The execution heartbeat: each project's open actions — filed from meeting notes, the plan, or added here — plus your personal to-dos, overdue first.

My To-Do List

Your personal execution queue across every PMO project — assigned work aggregated from the delivery and control sections. Personal to-dos live here; system items stay owned by their section, and completing one here updates the source of truth.

Roles & Decision Rights

The governance authority record for the desk — who holds which role, who can make which decisions, the working RACI per project, and the forums and gates that govern it. Decision Center records what was decided; Stage Gates record whether the project advances; this page defines who had the authority.

LinkedIn Connections

Turn your LinkedIn network into project people — Velora reads your export and stages every connection for your review before anyone joins your PMO Contacts.

Step 1 — get your connections file from LinkedIn

LinkedIn lets you download everyone you're connected with as a spreadsheet:

  1. Open linkedin.com → Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data
  2. Choose "Want something in particular?" and tick Connections only
  3. Click Request archive — LinkedIn emails you a download link (usually within ~10 minutes)
  4. Download the zip and pull out Connections.csv

The file has name, company, position and connection date. LinkedIn only includes emails for connections who allowed it — you can add the rest by hand on PMO Contacts.

Step 2 — upload it here

Drop Connections.csv here (xlsx works too)
Velora stages every connection · you confirm before anyone joins your contacts

Connections with an email stage as ENRICHED; without one they stage as QUARANTINE — confirm them anyway and add the email later on PMO Contacts. Confirmed connections become PMO Contacts you can attach to any project as a stakeholder.

Reporting Schedule

The reporting control center — what report is produced, from which PMO records, when it is prepared, who reviews it and when it is released. Drafts are held for your approval; nothing sends itself.

Governance Reminders

The desk's agents keep the rhythm so you don't have to — here is what runs, when, and what it would flag today.
